Who we are
Marathi Panchanga (मराठी पंचांग) is operated by HAPPYMYNDS (happymynds.com), a small digital publishing team based in India. We build practical cultural and calendar tools that families in Maharashtra actually use — festival dates, public holidays, Rahu Kaal windows, and marriage-season planning — without forcing a login or app download.
This site is not a temple trust and not a paid astrology consultancy. We are editors and developers who care about clear Marathi + English presentation of commonly followed Amanta (चांद्रमान) panchanga information for the Mumbai / Indian Standard Time reference zone.

Why this site exists
Many Marathi households still ask the same practical questions every year: When is Gudi Padwa? Which Ekadashi is next? What is Rahu Kaal today in Mumbai? Is this month open for weddings? Printed panchangas answer some of this, but phone-friendly, bilingual pages that explain why a date matters — not only list it — are harder to find.
Our aim is simple: give you a fast reference you can open on mobile before planning leave, travel, vrat, or a family ceremony, and pair the calendar with plain-language guides so the numbers make sense.
How we compile dates (methodology)
We follow the Amanta / Chandramana lunisolar system commonly used in Maharashtra panchanga traditions. Unless a page says otherwise:
- Timezone: Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30), referenced to Mumbai.
- Festival & tithi days: Compiled from commonly followed public panchanga references for 2026 and cross-checked against multiple published calendars where dates can diverge by region or tradition.
- Rahu Kaal / Gulika / Yamaganda: Weekday-based daytime windows as traditionally tabulated for standard sunrise–sunset approximations used in Mumbai references. Exact sunrise/sunset varies by date and locality.
- Marriage muhurat lists: Indicative “shubh date” lists for planning only. Final lagna and kundali matching must be confirmed with a qualified local pandit or astrologer.
- Government holidays: Indicative public-holiday lists for Maharashtra / India, subject to official gazette notifications.
When regional books disagree (a known reality of Hindu calendars), we document Mumbai-oriented consensus on the page and remind readers to confirm with their family priest for ceremony-critical decisions. See our Disclaimer.

- Optional tools — Lo Shu Grid, Chaldean name number, lucky number/colour calculators (clearly labelled as cultural / numerology interest, not professional advice).
Editorial standards
- We prefer clear language over jargon. Where a Sanskrit or Marathi term is necessary, we explain it.
- We do not sell personal kundali matching, paid muhurat selection, or medical/astrological remedies.
- If you report a factual error with a source, we investigate and correct the page, noting material updates when relevant.
- Advertising (including Google AdSense, when enabled) does not decide festival dates or guide conclusions. Ads appear only where they do not replace primary content.
- Horoscope-style pages, when present, are for general cultural interest and are not personal predictions.
